Anchored a mile or so off the entrance to the Tyne are three Sobelmar owned bulkers: Vyritsa 10/22,402, Zarechensk 09/20,748 & Brasschaat 09/20,748. They are all in Sobelmar colours (letters SBM on white band on light blue). They look as though they may be laid-up as opposed to awaiting orders. Does anyone know of their status or reason for being off the Tyne?
With thanks.

We stayed at the Grand Hotel Tynemouth (good bar) just before Xmas and we had a good view of the laid up ships anchored off the Tyne whilst scoffing a good breakfast with extra toast.
It was noted... that a pilot boat (?) had been out and was on its return.
Had there been a crew change we wondered or a delivery of pot noodles?
In any case all at the hotel were interested and more so the girls serving breakfast who relished the story.

All four are now anchored off Marsaxlokk,
