Title: If you are in Hampton Roads
Post by: Steven Collingwood on January 30, 2016, 09:16:02 PM
Just an FYI for those in Hampton Roads VA area.
Two good places to go are
1) The Chesapeake Bay Bridge Tunnel in Virginia Beach - go the Virginia Grill rest stop over the Thimble Shoals Tunnel.  Great place to see ships.  There IS A TOLL for this.
2) Fort Monroe - Fort Monroe in Hampton VA (Google Search for directions) is an old decommissioned fort that protected the main channel to Hampton Roads and Norfolk Naval Base.  No admission currently charged.
