CHRISTINE Y sold 10/2015 to Christine Maritime SA, Liberia, managed by Sky Mare Navigation Co, Athens.
Renamed CHRISTINE, reg Monrovia

No other changes, so far as I can see.

as noted by HW on another thread today:
Quote
Faversham Ships have purchased the Mv Musketier (imo 9369514) from Brise Shipping BV.
At this stage looks like now in her new colors she will keep the name but change registry to the UK flag following the other Faversham vsls registered out of Peel.
Now Faversham's fleet hits 10 again in numbers (Beaumont, Islay Trader, Musketier, Shetland Trader, Valiant, Vedette, Velox, Verity, Victress, Vitality).

MUSKETIER showing IOM flag, reg Douglas (like VERITY)
Owner listed as Vicomte Maritime Services, Guernsey (mng Faversham Ships Ltd)
All 10 seem to be actively trading.

Interesting to see aside from the Valiant on TC to Channel Seaways (Alderney Shipping) for the last few years it appears the Vedette is on some TC business between Grimsby and Leith for the last 6 - 8 months.

Cement trade maybe?

Open to comments.

Thanks

I would say so. It seems to mirror what the former Union Transport boats were doing between Grimsby and Leith which was indeed cement.

I suggest you take out a subscription to "Coastal Shipping" magazine. You will find all the news there. This trade was mentioned in the October 2015 edition.

Can anyone confirm the vessels Faversham Ships manage on behalf of other owners?

I understand its the below:

Christine (Ex Christine Y)

Thank you.

I think that BEAUMONT and VELOX are managed for Atlas Navigation Ltd, which has been a subsidiary of Vogt & Maguire Ltd since last November.

MUSKETIER managed for Vicomte Maritime Services Ltd, Guernsey - not sure whether this is owned by Faversham Ships.  May still have a connection with Briese Schiffahrts.

PLUTO managed for SeaG8 Ltd, apparently owned by Robert Fraser, Canterbury, since Absolute Shipping folded last year.

I do  not think that CHRISTINE still has any Faversham connection.

Thank you.

Im hearing the Pluto (imo 8415665) owned by SeaG8 (Faversham managed) has been sold and the Islay Trader (imo 9030474) will replace for the stone runs into East Coast UK.

Maybe in time we shall see her acquire the self discharge capability / Pluto's ex gear?

I see now the Beaumont (blt 2005, imo 9319416) has ventured away from the the CONT/French Bay trades and transiting the Turkish Straits today for Constantza.

A sale potentially following Victress??

Coastalwatcher - What do you know?? ;)

My understanding is that Faversham are looking to strengthen their fleet with 2nd hand tonnage within the 4-5000 dwt range.

It's currently a favourable market for vessel prices..........

Scot Carrier (IMO 9137208) now named Victress, replaces old Victress (IMO 9030498) renamed Redon.

The PLUTO which was mentioned previously in this thread has been in Kaliningrad, Russia for the past few weeks following her final departure from Whitstable. After some attention in the docks there she has now emerged as the BALTICA HAV flying the Antigua flag. Her new call sign is V2QS6, IMO remains 8415665 but MMSI is now 304264000. Currently on passage to Sweden.
It would appear that her future is less gloomy than many would have thought.

Best wishes

Tim Farrow.
