Title: What happened to Croatia Line (ex Jugolinija)
Post by: csaba on January 15, 2013, 04:27:53 AM
Could somebody tell me why did this company dissapear? I always loved their ships and heard very good comments about the company. Jugolinija was renamed Croatia Line during/after Croatia's war for independence, back in mid 1990s.
I can't find anything online about it.
Many thanks.

In short, bankrupt in 2000.
But hopefully our friends on the Adritic coast will fill out the story.

Croatia line was a victim of bad privatization in Croatia like a Slobodna plovidba sibenik,Dalmatinska plovidba vela luka,Mediteranska plovidba korcula. These are the companies that have failed in the short term to shame the state
