what do all the member thinks of the latest news in southampton that an business man is planning to buy the queen mary and return to southampton.
i know there has been report like this before but this seem a real possibly that it will happen as report states she may also be sold to an scrap merchants.

Haven't heard this news before. It's an interesting piece of news. Could QM travel the ocean to Southampton? I doubt it. I think it would go the same way as Oriana

the news is in the tonight southampton evening echo. the report state she would be streghten and survey and expert says she would be strong enough to return home to southampton.
like you i feel she would end up like the oriana sadly.

traced an article in a German Shipping Gazette that QM2 will meet QM on Feb.22 in L.A.
