E.R.Darwin is now shown as replacing MSC Brasilia on the TransTasman schedule. She is only showing as doing two voyages, as it appears that MSC are moving to a two vessel operation from November.

MSC have announced that they will start calling at Timaru and cut Wellington from the Capricoen Service.
The Komodo looks as though it will only be doing one trip and her place will be taken by the MSC Brasilia.
Finally the E.R. Darwin which was originally scheduled to go on the Capricorn Service and is now going on the Kiwi Service instead, is to be replaced by the MSC Jenny. This is about the third time MSC have scheduled her for this service but she has always been replaced before getting here.

The Tsakos charterd trio MSC Brasilia, MSC Sardinia and MSC London operated by MSC are scheduled for scrapping at the end of their charters early in 2012. The MSC Brasilia has already been transferred to a Laem Chabang / Singapore shuttle service pending delivery with MSC London to either follow or seek short-term employment on China trades. The MSC Brasilia was to also undertake short-haul Asian service work but now appears enough time prior to delivery to make a further trip on the Australasian Capricorn service. Another Capricorn vessel Merkur Sky has also been sold for scrap, but unlike the MSC's she was only 17 years old whereas the Tsakos trio are around 26 years.
