Stephen,

You forgot the WWL PTCC "Carmen" IMO 9505027 in your line up of the 6 car carriers visiting the Port of Auckland over the next couple of days.
"Falstaff" at Bledisloe, "Ruby Ace" at Captain Cook, "Hoegh Trooper" at Freyberg, "Carmen" at Jellicoe, "Spring Wind" at Bledisloe, "Trans Future 6" at Captain Cook wharves according to the POAL website. There might be 4 -5 in port at one time on the 27th.

regards,

Nigel

It looks like repairs to "Algarrobo" have been done to Maersk's satisfaction as she is down to load in Auckland on 6 July and Port Chalmers on 11 July. "Aquitania " will now load in Tauranga, Lyttelton & Port Chalmers.

I was chatting to the crew of the Algarrobo yesterday and they seem to think the crack is bad enough to still need to go to Asia for dry-docking. The deckie seemed to think they were going to Hong Kong for the dry-docking.

"Southern Reef" IMO 9141714 will begin a new Pacific Island schedule from Auckland on 14 July calling at Rarotonga and Papeete. This is a larger vessel than has been used in the past due to the completion of the extensions to the wharf at Rarotonga.

"Pacific Guardian" will load Auckland for Lautoka, Suva, Apia and Nuku'alofa on 10 July after extensive repairs that took over a month to complete. She has been chartered by Pacific Direct Line for one voyage to replace Southern Lily 2 which is undergoing repairs in PagoPago.
Reef Shipping will use the "Southern Reef" as their replacement vessel, and she will not start her Rarotonga/Papeete run until 29 July.

Reef Shipping have put out a new Sailing Schedule that does not involve Pacific Direct Line vessels.
http://www.reefship.co.nz/site/reefshipping/files/Schedules//Reef%20Shipping%20Schedules%20New.pdf

They will be using "Southern Tiare" to Fiji/Samoa/Tonga/American Samoa, and are expecting a new vessel to join the fleet on 8 September. "Southern Reef" will do one voyage before taking up her new trade to Rarotonga and Papeete.

"Reef Express" will sail to Rarotonga and Niue & "Reef Nauru" along with "KOMAIWAI  2" will operate as feeder vessels from Suva. A new vessel to replace KOMAIWAI  2 is expected in Suva on 3 September.

MSC are showing a vessel called the Jenny due in mid September.

I'm not sure if this is/was the MSC Jenny but no IMO number is given so may be a different ship.
