Today was held the blessing ceremony of the new dredger OCEAN TRAVERSE NORD.

Merci Steve, très intéressant.  Groupe Océan est vraiment "hot" comme entreprise Québécoise. Ça devrait être eux qui achète la Davie.

They are suppose to go on see trials in the next couple days. Maybe you will be able to have great picture!

 For Trials !
I tried once to capture her predecessor Cap Mechins working off St-François I.O. which is the nearest spot for this contract. But It was still quite far.The ship beeing relatively small  The dumping grounds are also located quite far on the south east.
I believe ones would need a boat to capture her in operation.
I also think Ocean pilot boats are normally used to change crews. Or they on the dredge alternately get to St-Laurent wharf.
Today Wednesday. she seems to engaging in dredging trials in the channel off Donaconna wharf but about 2 Km away too far for worthy photos.
