Hi Forum,

Not sure if this has been brought up before but with the rapid building of new vessels and the obligatory IMO numbering advancing towards 9 digits, will this site be able to handle the additional number for IMO's or what will be the new numbering system?

As I understand it, there is no need to change the current 7-digit format.
For the forseeable future there are plenty of unused ranges which can be used after 9999993.
