ANL Barwon on USA west coast service has been sold and she is being replaced by Seaspan Loncomilla that will transfer from ANL's ANZEX service. The Seaspan will skip the service normal weekly call at Napier end of July and swap trades at Tauranga, with the Barwon then loading at Tauranga and Napier for the Fra East where she will be off-hired.

The cement carrier "Golden Bay" IMO 7720257 has finally left NZ shores for overseas. She sailed from Marsden Point at 16:53 on 4th July for Papeete where she is expected to arrive at 13:00 on 11th July.
Does anyone know if she has been sold for further trading or is she headed for the scrapyard?

She's registered in Belize which would perhaps suggest a new career in the Caribbean.
Time will tell....

Re: The grounding of the Kea Trader on a reef in Noumea, they say in the report that an accommodation vessel is going there from New Zealand. Does anyone know what this vessel is?

The Southern Tiare has major mechanical issues and has cancelled her current voyage to Norfolk Island. Cargo will be carried on Southern Trader due Auckland 2 August, and she will call Norfolk Island on her way to Papeete.

Anyone know what vessel is replacing "Southern Tiare" for her run to the Chatham Islands. She is under repair in Auckland until at least the end of August, maybe longer.
