She'll be arriving at 1am on Thursday, Dave, and she's now minus all her Holcim markings.

Departing Onehunga 11am Wednesday - the very last shipping movement in the approximately 180 years in which the Port has been in operation.

Sad day ahead ...

Cheers,

JR

Anyone in Tauranga know if the Dora C is replacing the Sofrana Tourville? They are both in on the same day and are identical vessels. They are both down to sail for Auckland, however the Auckland list only has the Sofrana Tourville arriving.

SOFRANA TOURVILLE has already been renamed AVRA C, only took a couple of hours as by midday it was done. See photo uploaded.

Does anyone know about the small ship "Claymore II"? At the moment she seems to be running a service from Princes Wharf in Auckland to Gulf Harbour on Auckland's upper North Shore.

Hi Stephen

Claymore II normally dwells in Tauranga between bi-monthly approx. sailings to Pitcairn Island for Stoneycreek Shipping. She was reactivated about a week ago that I thought was for another Pitcairn run which per your report not correct.

Chenan - another of Swire's "C" class will be handed over to breakers in January.

Hohebank -due to be replaced in next few weeks by CV1100 class MSC Kia Ora IMO9364344 ex Tampa Bay.

The bulker Crystal Palace currently on the coast is carrying a "Ravensdown" funnel indicating the fertiliser manufacturer has her under charter.

Cheers
Brent

The Claymore II has been chartered by Warner Bros. to help with the filming if the shark movie "Meg", which is being filmed off Gulf Harbour on Auckland's North Shore. She will recommence her Pitcairn Island schedule again on 5th November.

The former chartered Hanjin Argentina is appearing on Maersk's Northern Star service as In Argentina (IMO 9632765) to cover for the Josephine Maersk in November.

Perhaps the Josephine Maersk is going into drydock

Matson are replacing "Liloa" with "Liloa II" IMO 9184249. She is ex Marcaviana, and ex Emilia. Her first Island voyage is loading Auckland 30 October.
She appears to be a sister ship to their other vessel "Imua II".
