One often encounters in ports that ships discharging/loading with barges alongside, this should be allowed. Same as in DD,s for cranes/scaffolding and partial ships in such locations.
NOW!!!,,,if we could get rid of the sailors,,how safe shipping would be !!!!!!!!

Comments noted of course, but don't worry about ships under repair for now as I will be starting the category standards soon and we can cover that specifically.

Fully agree with Jadran on the DD pics. Just imagine,,we would have to delete the whole M-class from
Maersk taken during construction !!!!

Agreed with jadran. Obstruction in a DD is a normal thing, it is like not accepting a ship because it is partially obstructed by a wave  :)

I once came across a photo of a some small tanker in a dry dock - photographer wasn't standing inside a dry dock but near it, so in a photo it was only ship's deck, superstructure & etc equipment visible, without the hull at all.  Is such acceptable or a dry dock is an "obstruction" here?
