Leith Docks
« on: July 06, 2015, 09:27:44 AM »
Hi All

I called in here on the 4th July and there was 2 TROMSOFF SHORE ships there one was TROMS MIRA but I couldn't read the other on off because of its location. Does anyone know what her name was please? A nice surprise was finding the Cruise ship STAR LEGEND there, most unexpected as I hadn't been to this area before.

Best wishes

Gordon

Both TROMS HERA and TROMS MIRA laid up in Leith for 6 to 9 months due to the lack of work in the offshore sector.

Also

UP JASPER and UP AGATE laid up in Blyth

and

TOISA CONQUEROR, TOISA ENVOY and TOISA VOYAGER laid up in Hull.

That is just the UK. Roughly around 40 offshore vessels laid up in Norway and Denmark.

James

Thanks Derek for the pic and James for the added info. I may not have replied to these before?
