It appears as though Passat Spring is to leave the Capricorn Service and be replaced by a yet as unnamed vessel.

The Passat Spring was reported sold 2-3 months ago so perhaps she will be delivered to her new owners.

The Norfolk Guardian (IMO 8600856) has been chartered by South East shipping Ltd to replace the Rangatira (IMO 7022928) on the Chatham Islands run from Timaru. It looks like she is only doing one voyage a month in between her usual run to Norfolk Island. The Rangatira is berthed in Timaru, but don't know her future.

Coastal Oil Logistics Limited (COLL) have announced they will be replacing the Torea and Kakariki with 2 new build ships.

Torea's replacement will be a 50000DWT tanker which is due Feb 2016. Kakariki's replacement will be a 50000DWT product/bitumen tanker due June 2017. both are being built at the SPP Ship Building Co. Ltd yard in Sacheon, South Korea.

These new vessels are larger than the existing tonnage and also more fuel efficient than the current tonnage.

Vita N ex Noble Antares, IMO 9433054 is to be renamed "ANL Elinga" at Port Kelang and replace CMA CGM Rose on the KIX service to South East Asia.
Also on the KIX service the "Thorsky" IMO 9162277 will replace the ANL Benalla. She was last in NZ as Santa Felicita.

The "Vita N" IMO 9433054 is to be renamed ANL Elinga in Sydney instead of Port Kelang. She will then transfer from the KIX service to the Trans Tasman schedule. She will be replaced in the KIX service by ANL Euroa IMO 9433066, which is transferring from the Trans Tasman service.

There have been a number of changes advertised recently as follows

PAD Service
CMA CGM Matisse is to be replaced by CMA CGM Lavender

North Asia Service
JPO Tucana is to be covered for one voyage by Hammonia Grenada while the latter is in drydock

NZS Service
MOL Dedication is to be replaced by Stadt Freiburg, presumably a result of MOL's decision to withdraw from their participation in this service

Capricorn Service
Passat Spring looks as though she will be replaced by MSC Carla 3 (ex Hansa Century)
Both Hebe and Maria Katharina S are to be replaced by as yet unnamed vessels

In the meantime Passat Spring has been renamed Bomar Spring

Does anyone know what the AS Carinthia is doing? She arrived at Tauranga from Tanjung Pelepas and completely discharged her cargo. She is now anchor off the port and is due to call back in on the 23/10 to load for Port Keelung. Seems like a strange voyage, my guess is she is unloading empty containers possibly for some export fruit but could be wrong.

I believe she is a seasonal loader for Maersk. There is another vessel, "Northern Practise" IMO 9450301 due end of November. She is calling Auckland and Tauranga.

It appears that Maersk are replacing "Patricia Schulte" with "Liwia P" IMO 9232759. She is due Auckland 15th November. However Patricia Schulte still appears in the schedule with the same voyage number as the new vessel.
